1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Astroo, an astrology-based dating and social connection platform operated by Oryon Tech OÜ, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Estonia under registry code [COMPANY_REGISTRY_CODE], with its registered office at [REGISTERED_ADDRESS] (hereinafter referred to as “Oryon Tech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User”, “you”, or “your”) and Oryon Tech governing your access to and use of the Astroo mobile application, website, and all associated services (collectively, the “Service” or “Platform”).
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Astroo Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who browse, register, subscribe to premium features, or contribute content to the Platform. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and disclose information about you.
Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time in accordance with Section 15. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
Applicable Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the applicable regulations of the European Union, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Digital Services Act (EU) 2022/2065 (“DSA”), and relevant consumer protection directives.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

“Account” means the user profile created by you to access and use the Service, including all associated data, settings, and preferences.

“AI Astral Readings” means the artificial intelligence-powered astrological interpretation service available to Premium subscribers, which provides personalized natal chart analysis, transit reports, and compatibility insights.

“Astroo” or “Platform” means the mobile application (iOS and Android), website, and all associated services provided by Oryon Tech OÜ.

“Astrology Data” means the birth date, birth time, and birth location information provided by you, which is used to calculate your natal chart and provide astrological compatibility analysis.

“Compatibility Score” means the algorithmic assessment of astrological compatibility between users based on synastry analysis, aspects, and other astrological indicators.

“Content” means any text, images, photos, videos, messages, data, information, or other materials uploaded, posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service.

“Free Tier” means the basic level of service access provided at no charge, with limited features as described in Section 7.

“GDPR” means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

“Match” means a mutual expression of interest between two users, established when both users have indicated interest in each other through the swipe mechanism.

“Plus Tier” means the intermediate subscription level offering enhanced features as described in Section 7.

“Premium Tier” means the highest subscription level offering all available features, including AI Astral Readings, as described in Section 7.

“QR Compatibility” means the feature allowing users to assess astrological compatibility with non-users by scanning a QR code that encodes astrology data.

“Service” means all features, functionality, content, and services provided through the Astroo platform.

“Subscription” means a recurring payment arrangement for access to Plus or Premium tier features.
-
“Synastry Engine” means the proprietary algorithmic system that analyzes the astrological compatibility between two individuals based on their natal charts.

“User Content” means all Content that you upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service.
-
“User” means any individual who creates an account and uses the Service.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our content specifically to individuals under the age of 18.
AGE VERIFICATION WARNING
The provision of false information regarding your age constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account and potential legal consequences. We reserve the right to request age verification documentation at any time.
3.2 Legal Capacity
You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to form a binding contract under applicable law. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.
3.3 Account Limitations
You may only create and maintain one (1) account on the Platform. Creating multiple accounts or using the Service through multiple accounts is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms, subject to immediate account termination.
3.4 Territorial Scope and Compliance
The Service is operated from the Republic of Estonia and is intended for users located in countries where such service is legally permissible. You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations applicable to your use of the Service. We reserve the right to restrict or deny access to the Service in certain jurisdictions at our sole discretion.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or ordinance in your jurisdiction;
- You are not located in a country subject to a European Union or Estonian government embargo, or that has been designated by the European Union or Estonian government as a “terrorist supporting” country;
- You are not listed on any European Union or Estonian government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
3.5 Prohibited Users
You are not eligible to use the Service if:
- You have been previously banned or had your account terminated for violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
- You are a convicted sex offender in any jurisdiction;
- You have been subject to a restraining order, injunction, or similar legal restriction relating to stalking, harassment, or threatening behavior;
- You are prohibited from using the Service by court order or other legal mechanism.
4. Account Registration & Security
4.1 Registration Requirements
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including:
- Your full legal name;
- A valid email address;
- Your date of birth;
- Your gender identity and sexual orientation (for matching purposes);
- Accurate astrology data: your birth date, birth time (to the minute, if known), and birth location (city and country);
- Profile photographs that accurately represent your current appearance;
- Any additional information requested during the registration process.
ASTROLOGY DATA ACCURACY REQUIREMENT
The accuracy of your astrology data is essential to the proper functioning of the Service. Providing inaccurate birth time or location data will result in incorrect natal chart calculations and compromised compatibility assessments. While we understand that exact birth times may not always be available, you should provide the most accurate information possible. The provision of deliberately false astrology data may be considered a violation of these Terms.
4.2 Account Verification
We reserve the right to verify the accuracy of the information you provide during registration at any time. Verification methods may include, but are not limited to:
- Email verification (mandatory);
- Phone number verification;
- Photo verification to confirm identity and prevent impersonation;
- Document verification (e.g., government-issued identification) in cases of suspected fraud or Terms violations.
Failure to complete verification when requested may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to:
- Use a strong, unique password that is not used for other online services;
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party;
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account;
- Log out of your account at the end of each session when using shared or public devices.
SECURITY RESPONSIBILITY NOTICE
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, regardless of whether such activities were authorized by you. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security. You agree to indemnify us for any losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account that occurs due to your failure to maintain adequate security.
4.4 Third-Party Authentication
If you choose to register or log in using a third-party authentication service (such as Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login), you authorize us to access and use certain information from your third-party account as permitted by that service and consistent with your privacy settings. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms and privacy policies of any third-party authentication services you use.
4.5 Account Transfers
Your account is personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned, or sold to any other person or entity. Any attempt to transfer or assign your account will result in immediate termination without refund.
4.6 One Account Per Person
As stated in Section 3.3, you may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts for any reason, including to circumvent restrictions, avoid bans, or manipulate the matching algorithm, is strictly prohibited.
5. Service Description
Astroo is a dating and social connection platform that uses astrological compatibility analysis to facilitate meaningful connections between users. The Service includes the following core features:
5.1 Natal Chart Calculation
Upon registration, we calculate your natal chart (birth chart) based on the astrology data you provide. This natal chart forms the foundation of all astrological analysis within the Service and includes the positions of celestial bodies at the time and location of your birth.
5.2 Synastry Engine
Our proprietary synastry engine analyzes the astrological compatibility between users by comparing natal charts and calculating:
- Planetary aspects (conjunctions, trines, squares, oppositions, sextiles, etc.);
- Elemental compatibility (fire, earth, air, water);
- Modal compatibility (cardinal, fixed, mutable);
- House overlays and their significance;
- Composite chart analysis;
- Other astrological indicators of compatibility.
The synastry engine generates a Compatibility Score and detailed compatibility insights for each potential match.
5.3 Swipe-Based Discovery
The Service presents potential matches through a swipe-based interface where you can:
- View user profiles including photos, basic information, and compatibility indicators;
- Express interest by swiping right or tapping a “like” button;
- Pass on a profile by swiping left or tapping a “pass” button;
- When two users mutually express interest, a Match is created.
The order and selection of profiles presented to you is determined by our recommendation algorithm as described in Section 10.
5.4 Matching System
When a mutual expression of interest occurs (both users have swiped right on each other), a Match is established, enabling:
- Access to the compatibility analysis and synastry report for the matched users;
- The ability to initiate real-time messaging;
- Additional compatibility insights specific to the match.
5.5 QR Compatibility Feature
The QR Compatibility feature allows you to:
- Generate a QR code encoding your astrology data (birth date, time, and location);
- Share this QR code with individuals who are not users of the Service;
- Scan QR codes shared by others to receive instant compatibility analysis without requiring them to create an account;
- View compatibility reports for scanned QR codes.
QR COMPATIBILITY PRIVACY NOTICE
When you share your QR code, you are sharing your astrology data (birth date, birth time, and birth location) with the recipient. This data can be used to calculate your complete natal chart. Share your QR code only with individuals you trust. When you scan another person’s QR code, we process their astrology data solely to generate the compatibility report and do not create an account or store their information beyond what is necessary for this limited purpose, in accordance with GDPR principles of data minimization.
5.6 AI Astral Readings (Premium Feature)
Premium subscribers have access to AI Astral Readings, which provide:
- Comprehensive natal chart interpretation with detailed analysis of planetary positions, houses, and aspects;
- Personalized daily, weekly, and monthly transit reports;
- In-depth compatibility analysis for matches with narrative interpretation;
- Birth chart element and modality analysis;
- Career, relationship, and personal growth insights based on astrological indicators;
- Customized astrological guidance and recommendations.
AI Astral Readings are generated using advanced artificial intelligence trained on astrological principles and interpretation techniques. These readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only, as described in Section 11.
5.7 Real-Time Messaging
Once a Match is established, users can communicate through our real-time messaging system, which includes:
- Text messaging;
- Photo and image sharing (subject to content moderation as described in Section 6);
- Read receipts and typing indicators (optional);
- Message encryption in transit;
- Ability to unmatch and block users.
5.8 Profile Customization
Users can customize their profiles with:
- Multiple profile photos (subject to moderation);
- Biographical information and personal interests;
- Astrological preferences (e.g., preferred sun signs, aspects, or chart features);
- Search and discovery preferences (age range, distance, gender);
- Privacy settings controlling profile visibility and information disclosure.
5.9 Advanced Filters and Search (Plus and Premium)
Plus and Premium subscribers have access to enhanced discovery features:
- Advanced filtering by specific astrological criteria (sun sign, moon sign, rising sign, Venus sign, Mars sign, etc.);
- Compatibility score thresholds;
- Enhanced search capabilities;
- Priority placement in discovery queues.
5.10 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service, except as may be required by applicable consumer protection law.
5.11 No Professional Services
IMPORTANT: NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Astroo is designed for entertainment, self-reflection, and social connection purposes. The Service does not provide professional astrological consultation, psychological counseling, relationship therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or any other professional services. The astrological analysis, compatibility scores, and AI Astral Readings are automated and algorithmic in nature and should not be relied upon for making important life decisions. Always consult qualified professionals for matters requiring expert advice.
6. User Content & Conduct
6.1 User Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service. You represent and warrant that:
- You own all rights to your User Content or have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and consents to use and grant the rights described in these Terms;
- Your User Content does not infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other proprietary rights;
- Your User Content complies with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations;
- Your User Content is accurate and not misleading.
6.2 Photo Requirements and Moderation
All profile photos must:
- Clearly show your face;
- Be a reasonably recent and accurate representation of your current appearance;
- Be of you alone (group photos are prohibited as profile pictures);
- Not contain nudity, sexually explicit content, or suggestive imagery;
- Not contain images of minors (under 18 years of age);
- Not contain violence, weapons, hate symbols, or illegal content;
- Not be professional modeling photos, celebrity photos, or images of other individuals;
- Not contain watermarks, promotional content, or contact information;
- Meet our technical requirements for resolution and format.
All photos uploaded to the Service are subject to automated and, where appropriate, manual moderation. We employ a combination of AI-based content detection systems and human moderators to review photos for compliance with these requirements.
6.3 CSAM Zero-Tolerance Policy
CRITICAL LEGAL WARNING: CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL
Oryon Tech maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any User Content that depicts, promotes, solicits, or normalizes the sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious criminal offense.
We employ industry-leading detection technologies, including PhotoDNA and other hash-matching systems, to detect and prevent the upload of known CSAM. Upon detection or report of suspected CSAM:
- The content will be immediately removed and preserved as evidence;
- The account will be immediately and permanently terminated;
- The matter will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including but not limited to:
- The Estonian Police and Border Guard Board (Politsei- ja Piirivalveamet);
- INTERPOL;
- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline;
- Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3);
- User information, including IP addresses, device identifiers, and all relevant data, will be preserved and provided to law enforcement;
- We will fully cooperate with all criminal investigations and prosecutions.
In accordance with Article 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children, any person who becomes aware of CSAM has a legal obligation to report it to the competent authorities.
6.4 Prohibited Content
In addition to CSAM, the following categories of content are strictly prohibited:
Illegal Content:
- Content that violates any applicable law, statute, ordinance, or regulation;
- Content that promotes, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal activities;
- Stolen or pirated content;
- Content that violates export control laws.
Violent and Graphic Content:
- Content depicting extreme violence, gore, or cruelty;
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
- Content glorifying or inciting violence.
Hateful and Discriminatory Content:
- Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic;
- Content containing slurs, epithets, or hate symbols;
- Content promoting hate groups or extremist ideologies.
Sexually Explicit Content:
- Pornographic content or sexually explicit imagery;
- Content depicting sexual acts or genitalia;
- Content soliciting sexual services or prostitution;
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn).
Harassment and Bullying:
- Content intended to harass, intimidate, threaten, or bully other users;
- Doxxing (publishing private personal information without consent);
- Impersonation or identity fraud.
Misleading and Fraudulent Content:
- Content containing false or misleading information;
- Phishing attempts or scams;
- Fake profiles or catfishing;
- Content promoting pyramid schemes or fraudulent financial opportunities.
Spam and Commercial Content:
- Unsolicited commercial messages or advertisements;
- Repetitive or bulk messages;
- Content designed to artificially manipulate engagement metrics;
- Unauthorized promotional content or solicitation.
6.5 Prohibited Conduct
Users are prohibited from engaging in the following conduct:
- Using the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent;
- Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service;
- Using any automated system, including but not limited to “robots,” “spiders,” or “offline readers,” to access the Service;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other users’ accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service;
- Harassing, stalking, threatening, or otherwise violating the legal rights of other users;
- Collecting or harvesting any personally identifiable information from the Service, including account names or email addresses;
- Using the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party’s use of the Service;
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any content filtering, security measures, or access controls;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive source code from the Service;
- Removing, obscuring, or altering any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices;
- Using the Service to engage in or promote illegal activities.
6.6 Content License Grant
By uploading, posting, or otherwise making User Content available through the Service, you grant Oryon Tech a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Service, including for promotional and marketing purposes.
This license continues for a commercially reasonable period after you remove or delete your User Content from the Service to allow for cached copies and backups to be removed from our systems. You understand and agree that Oryon Tech may retain, but not publicly display, distribute, or perform, server copies of your User Content that has been removed or deleted.
You retain all ownership rights in your User Content, subject to the license granted herein. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
6.7 Content Monitoring and Removal
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, or moderate User Content. We may remove or disable access to any User Content, in whole or in part, that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or is otherwise objectionable.
In accordance with Article 16 of the Digital Services Act (DSA), we will provide a statement of reasons for content removal decisions, subject to applicable exceptions. Users whose content has been removed may submit a complaint through the internal complaint-handling mechanism described in Section 14.
We employ both automated tools and human moderators to detect and remove prohibited content. However, we do not pre-screen all content and cannot guarantee that all prohibited content will be identified and removed.
6.8 Reporting Violations
If you become aware of User Content or user conduct that violates these Terms, please report it using the in-app reporting mechanism or by contacting us at the contact information provided in Section 17. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable law.
In accordance with Article 16 of the DSA, our internal complaint-handling system allows users to submit complaints regarding:
- Content moderation decisions affecting them;
- Alleged illegal content or violations of these Terms by other users;
- Technical issues affecting their ability to use the Service.
6.9 Repeat Infringer Policy
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights or repeat violators of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
6.10 User Interactions and Safety
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Oryon Tech is not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the Service. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct criminal background checks on users. Exercise caution and use common sense when interacting with people you meet through the Service.
We recommend following these safety guidelines:
- Never share financial information, social security numbers, or passwords with other users;
- Be cautious about sharing personal contact information;
- Meet in public places for initial in-person meetings;
- Inform friends or family members of your plans when meeting someone in person;
- Trust your instincts—if something feels wrong, remove yourself from the situation;
- Report suspicious behavior, harassment, or safety concerns to us immediately;
- Do not send money or provide financial assistance to users you have met through the Service.
7. Subscriptions & Payments
7.1 Subscription Tiers
Astroo offers three tiers of service:
Free Tier:
- Basic profile creation and natal chart calculation;
- Limited daily swipes (specific limits may vary);
- Basic compatibility scoring for matches;
- Real-time messaging with matches;
- Standard discovery queue.
Plus Tier:
- All Free Tier features;
- Unlimited swipes;
- Advanced astrological filters (sun sign, moon sign, rising sign);
- See who has liked you before matching;
- Priority placement in discovery queues;
- Rewind feature to undo accidental swipes;
- Enhanced compatibility insights;
- Ad-free experience.
Premium Tier:
- All Plus Tier features;
- Full AI Astral Readings with comprehensive natal chart interpretation;
- Personalized daily, weekly, and monthly transit reports;
- In-depth match compatibility analysis with narrative interpretation;
- Advanced filters including Venus, Mars, and all planetary positions;
- Unlimited QR compatibility scans;
- Priority customer support;
- Early access to new features;
- Premium badge on profile.
Specific features, limitations, and pricing for each tier are displayed within the application and on our website and may be updated from time to time at our sole discretion.
7.2 Subscription Payments
Plus and Premium tier access is provided on a subscription basis, with billing periods offered on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis as selected during the subscription purchase process.
Pricing: Subscription prices are displayed in the application and on our website in your local currency. Prices are inclusive of applicable value-added tax (VAT) or other taxes as required by law. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for new subscriptions or subscription renewals with advance notice as described in Section 7.5.
Payment Methods: Subscriptions may be purchased through:
- Apple App Store (for iOS users);
- Google Play Store (for Android users);
- Our website using credit card, debit card, or other payment methods we may support.
7.3 Automatic Renewal
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL NOTICE
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate for your selected tier and billing period. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
To cancel your subscription:
- iOS users: Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store;
- Android users: Manage subscriptions through your Google Play account settings;
- Web subscribers: Cancel through your account settings on our website or by contacting customer support.
Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to subscription features until that time.
7.4 Billing Through Third-Party Platforms
If you purchase your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your subscription and billing are governed by the applicable platform’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms. Specifically:
Apple App Store:
- Your subscription will be charged to your Apple ID account;
- Subscriptions managed through Apple are subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service and Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions;
- To manage or cancel your subscription, use your Apple ID account settings;
- Apple is responsible for processing refund requests for App Store purchases in accordance with its policies.
Google Play Store:
- Your subscription will be charged to your Google Play account;
- Subscriptions managed through Google are subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service;
- To manage or cancel your subscription, use your Google Play account settings;
- Google is responsible for processing refund requests for Play Store purchases in accordance with its policies.
We do not have access to or control over payment methods used for App Store or Play Store purchases. Billing disputes for such purchases should be directed to Apple or Google as appropriate.
7.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices for new subscribers and for subscription renewals at any time. Price changes will be communicated to existing subscribers at least thirty (30) days before the new price takes effect.
For existing subscribers:
- The new price will apply to your next billing period after the notice period;
- You will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the price increase takes effect;
- Continued use of the subscription after the price increase constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Annual or multi-month subscriptions purchased at a specific price will be honored for the duration of that subscription period; price increases will apply upon renewal.
7.6 Refunds and Cancellations
General Policy: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection law or as described in this section.
European Union Consumer Rights: In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, EU residents have the right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within fourteen (14) days of purchase, unless you have expressly consented to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
By purchasing a subscription and immediately accessing subscription features, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal. If you do not wish to waive your right of withdrawal, do not access subscription features within the 14-day period and contact us to exercise your withdrawal right.

Proprietary Rights: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including but not limited to:
- The Astroo brand name, logo, and trademarks;
- The synastry engine and compatibility algorithms;
- The AI Astral Readings engine and models;
- The user interface and design elements;
- The source code, object code, and software architecture;
- Databases, data structures, and data compilations;
- Documentation and technical specifications;
remain the exclusive property of Oryon Tech and its licensors.
8.2 Limited License to Use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Oryon Tech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
This license does not include any right to:

You are granted no right or license with respect to any of these trademarks, and any unauthorized use may violate trademark, copyright, and other applicable laws.

As described in Section 6.6, by uploading User Content, you grant Oryon Tech a license to use that content in connection with the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license granted.
8.5 Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide Oryon Tech with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other information regarding the Service (“Feedback”), you grant Oryon Tech a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you. 10.6 No Profiling with Legal or Similarly Significant Effects
The recommendation system does not constitute automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects as defined in Article 22 GDPR. The system’s recommendations:
- Are limited to suggesting potential matches for your consideration;
- Do not determine your eligibility to use the Service;
- Do not have legal consequences;
- Do not significantly affect your circumstances in a way comparable to legal effects;
- Are subject to your ultimate decision-making (you decide whether to express interest in any profile).
However, if you believe the recommendation system is producing outcomes that unfairly affect you, you may contact us to request human review as described in Section 10.8.

- Your User Content, including any claims of infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other proprietary rights;
- The accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of information you provide, including astrology data and profile information;
Your Conduct:
- Your conduct in connection with the Service, including interactions with other users, whether online or offline;
- Any fraudulent, negligent, or illegal conduct by you in connection with the Service;
Your Breach:
- Your breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant in these Terms;
- Your violation of our Community Guidelines.
12.2 Defense and Settlement
Oryon Tech reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. You agree to cooperate with Oryon Tech’s defense of such claims. You will not settle any claim that affects Oryon Tech or the Indemnified Parties without Oryon Tech’s prior written consent.
12.3 Limitation for Consumer Users
To the extent that applicable consumer protection law prohibits or limits indemnification obligations, this Section 12 shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by such law. Nothing in this Section 12 requires you to indemnify the Indemnified Parties for their own negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
13. Termination & Suspension
13.1 User-Initiated Termination (Account Deletion)
You may terminate your account and cease using the Service at any time by:
Deleting Your Account:
- Access your account settings within the application;
- Select the “Delete Account” option;
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm account deletion.
Alternatively, you may request account deletion by contacting customer support at [DPO_EMAIL].
Effect of Account Deletion: Upon account deletion:
- Your account will be permanently deactivated;
- Your profile will no longer be visible to other users;
- You will lose access to all subscription features and any remaining subscription period (without refund, except as required by law);
- Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention policy and GDPR requirements as described in Section 13.4;
- Active subscriptions will be canceled (you must separately cancel subscriptions managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store to prevent future billing);
- Account deletion is generally irreversible; you will not be able to recover your account, matches, messages, or other data.
ACCOUNT DELETION WARNING
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including matches, messages, and subscription access, will be lost. Ensure you have canceled any active subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before deleting your account to prevent continued billing.
13.2 Company-Initiated Suspension
Oryon Tech reserves the right to suspend your account temporarily, without prior notice, if:
- We are investigating suspected violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
- We are investigating reports of prohibited conduct, harassment, or illegal activity;
- We detect suspicious activity, potential fraud, or security concerns related to your account;
- We are conducting age verification or identity verification;
- We determine that temporary suspension is necessary to protect the safety of users or the integrity of the Service.
During a suspension:
- You will not be able to access your account or use the Service;
- Your profile will not be visible to other users;
- You will be notified of the suspension and the reason, except where providing such notice would undermine an investigation or violate applicable law;
- You will be given an opportunity to respond or provide information relevant to the investigation;
- If the investigation concludes that no violation occurred, your account will be reinstated;
- If a violation is confirmed, your account may be terminated as described in Section 13.3.
13.3 Company-Initiated Termination
Oryon Tech reserves the right to terminate your account and prohibit your access to the Service, immediately and without prior notice, if:
Terms Violations:
- You violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or our Community Guidelines;
- You engage in prohibited conduct as described in Section 6.5;
- You upload prohibited content as described in Section 6.4;
- You create multiple accounts in violation of Section 3.3;
- You provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information during registration or use;
Serious Misconduct:
- You engage in harassment, stalking, threatening behavior, or hate speech;
- You upload or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or other illegal content;
- You engage in fraud, scams, or other illegal activity;
- You impersonate another person or entity;
- You violate other users’ privacy, safety, or rights;
Repeat Violations:
- You are a repeat infringer of intellectual property rights or repeat violator of these Terms;
- You have been previously warned or temporarily suspended and continue to violate these Terms;
Legal or Safety Concerns:
- We receive a valid legal order or request from law enforcement requiring termination;
- We determine that your continued access to the Service poses a risk to the safety of other users, minors, or the public;
- We determine that your continued access violates applicable law;
Ineligibility:
- We discover that you do not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 3, including age requirements;
- You become subject to legal prohibition from using the Service.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination:
- Your account will be permanently deactivated;
- You will lose all access to the Service and any subscription features;
- Your profile will be removed from visibility;
- You will not be entitled to any refund of subscription fees, except as required by applicable law;
- Your data will be handled in accordance with Section 13.4;
- You are prohibited from creating a new account or accessing the Service through any other means;
- We may report your conduct to law enforcement authorities if it involves illegal activity.
Statement of Reasons: In accordance with Article 17 of the Digital Services Act, we will provide a statement of reasons for account termination decisions, subject to applicable exceptions (e.g., where providing a statement would undermine a law enforcement investigation or involve illegal content such as CSAM).
Right to Complain: You may submit a complaint regarding a termination decision through our internal complaint-handling mechanism by contacting [DPO_EMAIL]. We will review complaints and respond in accordance with DSA requirements.
13.4 Data Retention Post-Termination
Following account deletion or termination:
Immediate Actions:
- Your profile will be immediately removed from visibility to other users;
- Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked;
- Active sessions will be terminated.
Personal Data Deletion: In accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within thirty (30) days of account deletion or termination, except to the extent that retention is:
- Required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process (e.g., tax records, transaction records);
- Necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
- Necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g., data subject to litigation hold);
- Necessary to protect the vital interests of individuals or public safety (e.g., data related to CSAM reports or serious safety incidents).
User Content: User Content you have posted may remain visible in certain limited circumstances:
- Messages you have sent to other users may remain visible to those users (but will be disassociated from your deleted account);
- Content subject to legal preservation obligations will be retained as necessary.
Backups: Personal data may persist in backup systems for a limited period (not exceeding 90 days) before being permanently deleted from backups.
Exercising Data Rights: Even after account termination, you retain the right to request access to, rectification of, or deletion of personal data that has been retained, subject to applicable legal limitations. Contact our Data Protection Officer at [DPO_EMAIL].
13.5 Effect on Subscriptions
Account termination or deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed through third-party platforms:
- Apple App Store subscriptions: You must cancel through your Apple ID account settings to prevent future billing.
- Google Play Store subscriptions: You must cancel through your Google Play account settings to prevent future billing.
- Web subscriptions: Subscriptions will be automatically canceled upon account deletion.
No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription period upon termination or deletion, except as required by applicable consumer protection law or as determined by the third-party platform.
13.6 Survival
The following sections of these Terms survive termination or expiration of your account and continue to apply: Sections 6.6 (Content License Grant), 8 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), 13.4 (Data Retention Post-Termination), 14 (Dispute Resolution), 16 (Severability & Entire Agreement), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly excluded.
14.2 Jurisdiction
Subject to Section 14.4 (Consumer Rights), any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, with venue in Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus), Tallinn, Estonia.
14.3 Internal Complaint-Handling Mechanism
In accordance with Article 20 of the Digital Services Act, we maintain an internal complaint-handling system for addressing complaints regarding:
- Content moderation decisions, including content removal or account suspension/termination;
- Alleged illegal content or Terms violations by other users;
- Failures to act on reports of illegal content or violations;
- Technical issues or Service malfunctions affecting your use.
How to Submit a Complaint: You may submit a complaint by:
- Using the in-app complaint submission form in your account settings;

14.4 EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 524/2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes, European Union consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to resolve disputes with us.

We are committed to participating in good faith in ODR proceedings initiated through the platform for eligible consumer disputes.
14.5 Out-of-Court Dispute Settlement

Other EU consumers may contact the consumer dispute resolution body in their country of residence. Information about certified ADR entities is available through the ODR platform.
Participation in alternative dispute resolution is voluntary and does not affect your right to pursue legal action in court.
14.6 Consumer Rights Preservation
Nothing in this Section 14 affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
EU Consumer Rights: If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions under EU law and the law of the EU Member State in which you are resident. These Terms do not deprive you of those protections.
In particular:
- If you are a consumer habitually resident in an EU Member State, you may bring legal proceedings in relation to these Terms in either the Estonian courts or the courts of the Member State in which you are habitually resident;
- If Oryon Tech brings legal proceedings against you as a consumer, we may only do so in the courts of the Member State in which you are habitually resident;
- These choice of law and jurisdiction provisions do not deprive you of the protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the Member State in which you are habitually resident.
Estonian Consumer Rights: Consumers in Estonia benefit from protections under the Estonian Law of Obligations Act and Consumer Protection Act, which cannot be waived by contract.
14.7 Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal dispute resolution proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [DPO_EMAIL] to seek an informal resolution. Many disputes can be resolved quickly and satisfactorily through direct communication.
14.8 Class Action Waiver (Where Permitted)
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. This class action waiver does not apply where such waivers are prohibited by law (e.g., for consumers in certain EU Member States).
14.9 Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights or confidential information.
15. Changes to These Terms
15.1 Right to Modify Terms
Oryon Tech reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. Changes may be necessary to:
- Reflect changes in applicable law or regulatory requirements;
- Address new features, functionality, or services;
- Improve clarity or address ambiguities;
- Respond to security, safety, or technical considerations;
- Modify business practices or policies.
15.2 Notification of Changes
When we make changes to these Terms, we will:
Material Changes: For material changes that substantively affect your rights or obligations:
- Update the “Last Updated” and “Effective Date” at the top of these Terms;
- Provide notice through one or more of the following methods:
- Prominent in-app notification when you next access the Service;
- Email notification to the email address associated with your account;
- Push notification (if you have enabled notifications);
- Notice on our website and/or login screen;
- Provide at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice before the changes take effect, except where changes are required by law or are necessary to address urgent security or safety concerns.

- The right to a refund applies only to material changes that substantively diminish your rights or increase your obligations.

16. Severability & Entire Agreement
16.1 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving the intent of the parties. If such modification is not possible, the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision in one jurisdiction shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction, nor shall it affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other provision in any jurisdiction.
16.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with:
- Our Privacy Policy;
- Our Community Guidelines;
- Any additional terms and conditions applicable to specific features or services (e.g., subscription terms, promotional terms);
- The terms and conditions of third-party platforms through which you access the Service (e.g., Apple App Store Terms of Service, Google Play Terms of Service);
constitute the entire agreement between you and Oryon Tech regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and Oryon Tech regarding the subject matter hereof.
16.3 No Waiver
The failure of Oryon Tech to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. No waiver by Oryon Tech of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.
Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Oryon Tech to be effective.
16.4 No Assignment by User
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Oryon Tech. Any attempted assignment, transfer, or delegation without such consent shall be null and void.
Oryon Tech may freely assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and its rights and obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
16.5 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms are for the benefit of, and shall be enforceable by, the parties hereto and their respective successors and permitted assigns. These Terms are not intended to confer any right or benefit upon any third party, except as expressly provided in Section 12 (Indemnification) with respect to Indemnified Parties.
16.6 Force Majeure
Oryon Tech shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, failure of telecommunications or internet infrastructure, cyberattacks, government actions, or natural disasters.
16.7 Interpretation
In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation;
- Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa;
- References to “including” or “includes” mean “including without limitation” or “includes without limitation”;
- References to sections refer to sections of these Terms;
- References to “you” include your permitted successors and assigns (where assignment is permitted);
- References to “Oryon Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our” include Oryon Tech OÜ and its successors and assigns.
