What is Astroo?
Astroo is a dating app that uses real astrology to help you find meaningful connections. We calculate your natal chart from your birth data and use synastry — the art of comparing two birth charts — to reveal romantic and sexual compatibility with other people.
How is compatibility calculated?
We compute a full synastry overlay between your natal chart and the other person's. This includes planetary aspects, house placements, and elemental balance. The result is a personalized romantic and sexual compatibility score, not a generic sun-sign match.
Do I need to know my exact birth time?
Your sun sign and most planetary placements only need your birth date. However, your Ascendant (Rising sign) and house positions require an accurate birth time. If you don't know it, you can still use Astroo — we'll mark the accuracy and adjust calculations accordingly.
Is my birth data private?
Yes. Your birth date, time, and location are never shown to other users. They are used only for chart calculations and compatibility scoring on our servers. Other users only see your display name, age (if you choose), photos, and profile details.
What can I do on the free plan?
Free users get 50 daily swipes, 3 compatibility calculations per day, and access to their full natal chart. You can upgrade to Plus or Premium to unlock unlimited swipes, more calculations, Super Likes, and the AI Relationship Counselor.
What is the AI Counselor?
The AI Counselor is a Premium feature that gives you personalized astrological relationship advice. It reads your synastry with a specific person and answers questions about your connection — communication styles, challenges, romantic dynamics — all based on your actual birth charts.
How does the QR compatibility feature work?
Each user has a personal QR code. When someone scans yours, we instantly calculate your compatibility without either person sharing any personal data. It's a fun way to check your connection with someone you've just met.
What's the difference between Plus and Premium?
Plus gives you unlimited swipes, 5 Super Likes per day, 15 daily compatibility calculations, undo swipe, and no ads. Premium includes everything in Plus with unlimited Super Likes, unlimited compatibility calculations, priority in discovery, and full access to the AI Relationship Counselor.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from the app settings. Your profile is immediately hidden and your data is scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days. If you log back in within that period, your account is automatically reactivated.
Is Astroo available in my language?
Astroo is currently available in English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese. The app detects your device language automatically, and you can change it at any time.
